Sunset at Spider House

Spider House is one of my fave spots in Boracay and I wanted my friends to experience the exotic ambience of this restaurant. Its actually a hotel restaurant built in the base of the mountain rocks in Diniwid Beach. The place is super laid-back. Contrary to its name, there are no actual spiders or cab webs in the restaurant. I honestly have no idea how they came up with such name.

There are 2 options to get to Spider House. You could either walk from white beach  towards Station 1 and pass through the mountain or ride a tricycle for P100. Just ask the driver to take you to Diniwid Beach and from their drop off point you have to walk for a few minutes to get to the restaurant. Its just a short walk don't worry.  All 8 of us tried to walk pass the mountain but after Jonah's Shake, half of us decided to just ride the tricycle. I can't blame them. The heat was on its peak.

The grean algae is just about everywhere.

Your path to Diniwid Beach.

There are lights in this pathway at night so it is safe to walk back late to White Beach.

@ategabe yuki and @butchwong1986 didn't mind getting burned.

Theres the grotto and the whole, fits one person, to get to the other side of the mountain. Its not that complicated.

Nami Hotel and Restaurant. They have this unique outdoor elevator facing the beach. Pretty cool.

This is the main reason why i keep coming back to Spider House. The sun touching the horizon. Boats passing by and the birds flying. The orange color radiating from the sky to the sea. Sigh. It sets the mood. It's such an amazing sight to see. So make it happen, visit this side of the island whenever you go to Boracay.
