My return flight from Bali, Indonesia to Manila, Philippines has a 12 hours layover in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia so what better way to spend my free time than to roam around the city. It was a long time to just bore myself inside the airport so I googled for places to visit and transfers so I won't get lost and get back in time for my flight.
After immigration I proceeded to the money changer to convert the remaining 10 dollars to Ringgit.
I catched the next bus(22 Ringgit) leaving to KL Central to get to my first destination, Batu Caves.
I dropped off at KL Sentral and took the KTM Komuter to Batu Caves (2.60 Ringgit)

Marvel at the beautiful limestone hill, high ceilings and Hindu shrines.
Inside Batu Cave
Beware! There are tons of bats inside the cave so avoid the restricted areas and don't do anything that will disturb the bats. There was one guy who got attacked by bats and it was so unfortunate his head was covered with blood. He could not walk and had to be carried all the way down back to the entrance for first aid. It was a steep and long descend with no stretcher. Scary. They need to have medic inside the cave for the benefit of the tourist.

Though my KL experience was very quick and exhausting I still had a great time. I was able to visit a lot of tourist destinations for within just 12 hours, with my backpack and with just 10 dollars in hand.
